GingerScraps became my home.
It is a very active and oh SO friendly place. Their designers line-up is super awesome: you should check it out ;-)
Every month they offer a mistery kit as a "Daily Download": every day of the month they post the link to download part of the kit and at the end of the month you have a FULL size kit !!!
On the side, there is always lots happening: Challenges, New Releases, Freebies, Giveaways ... a LOT of fun ;-)
The other forums are great too specially Hummie's World with is a mine of information and tutorials. If you don't find what you are looking for, just ask and they shall answer ...
But back to GingerScraps: It has really become my hang-out place and I'm even in a CT !!! Yes, me, in a CT !!!
Newbie that I am, PhotoCowGirl still gave me a chance ... and in addition to that, I also help her around writing posts on her blog and posting threads in various forums ...

And talking about PhotoCowGirl, she is hard at work on a new kit ... and let me tell you: it is going to be a BEAUTY !!!
